LSD Differential – Border Front Differential

The Border differential is designed to prevent the complete loss of drive that occurs with a conventional differential when one wheel slips.

Ideally suited to vehicles where traction is an issue Ie Rally Cars and Speedway, where some wheel slip is required when turning. We recommend for circuit racing and street driven vehicles that the Border ATB Differential may be more well suited.

These come in three options

• 1 – Way: The LSD is effective when load is applied to the differential (applied throttle load), and is not effective when load is not applied.
• 1.5 – Way: The LSD is effective when load is applied to the differential (applied throttle load), and is half-effective when load is not applied.
• 2 – Way: The LSD is effective when load is applied to the differential (applied throttle load), and when load is not applied. (Most aggressive option)

This differential complies with Speedway Regulations requiring a “Locked Differential” design. By providing some wheel slip on cornering and when off throttle (1 / 1.5 way) this reduces over steer / under steer and provides a better balance to the vehicle as you accelerate out of corners.
