Throttle Body Package – 63mm

Description

Mitsubishi 6A12 Throttle Body Upgrade

• The Mitsubishi FTO 6A12 DOHC 24v including Mivec vehicles run a 60mm unit which is limiting on airflow into the engine.
• Can also be supplied for Mitsubishi Galant / Proton Perdana Models but not as an exchange option
• Can also be supplied for Mitsubishi Galant VR4 /Legnum Models but not as an exchange option
• This package replaces the stock throttle body with a bored out to a 63mm exchange unit with the new larger butterfly.
• Intake manifold will be required to be machined and ported to suit now larger internal diameter. This is available as part of a complete bolt on package.
• This rapidly improves throttle response, mid range and top end horsepower by improving the breathing of the engine. Air flow is increased by approx 20% over the factory throttle body.

This is a bolt on affair and looks completely stock and is highly recommended for those wanting to improve the performance of there vehicle.
This unit does not come with any electronic switches and will require them to be transferred across.
This unit is an Exchange unit, and a core charge is applicable.
Core charge is refunded upon return of customers original stock unit back to RPW

Intake Manifold Packages

• The Intake Manifold is Ported and machined to suit the now larger bore size on the throttle body
• Manifold and Throttle body assembled ready to fit to vehicle (Excluding electrical sensors and injectors etc unless customer original unit is supplied)
• Core charge applicable on intake manifold when done on exchange basis.
