Camshaft Billet – Mitsubishi 4G54 SOHC 8v

Racing Performance Works is now manafacturing our own Camshaft Billets
Turbo and Naturally aspirated profiles are available, along with the ability to provide customised profiles to the customers own specifications (within a limited range)

This camshaft billet is to suit the following Mitsubishi Model Engines

• Mitsubishi 4G52 SOHC 8v – Adjustable Tappet
• Mitsubishi 4G54 SOHC 8v – Adjustable Tappet
• Mitsubishi 4G54 SOHC 8v – Hydraulic Lifter
• Mitsubishi 4G54 SOHC 8v – Hydraulic Roller Rocker

This new camshaft Billet is manafactured from Billet Steel and is designed to be used as a Roller Rocker setup, providing superior characteristics for idle, smoothness and reliability.

• This billet camshaft has been designed to be cross compatible with all 4G52/54 Model engines.
• For OEM Flat Tappet Adjustable model engines – you will need to purchase a set of Billet Adjustable Tappet Roller Rockers.
• For OEM Flat Tappet Hydraulic model engines – you will need to purcahse a set of Hydraulic Roller Rockers.
• For OEM Hydraulic Roller Rocker – you retain the use of your origonal Hydraulic Roller Rockers.
• For some model Cylidner heads, releiving on the cylinder head camshaft tunnel may be required  for the cam lobes to clear

The main profiles we are offering are as follows

• The always popular Paris-Dackar naturally aspirated profile, available in a street or heavily modified vehicle application. THe primary focus is as always on torque and throttle response with strong upper rpm power gains, but without sacrificing idle or driveability.
• For Turbocharged applications – our standard profiles will be two options of the HKS Road Rally grinds
• Custom profiles can be manufactured at extra expense, customer to provide specifications they wish, and a matching profile that is closest to the specifications requested will be used
• Camshaft Semi Prepared Billets can also be supplied without grinding so you can provide it to your own camshaft grinding company for a custom local profile.
